St. Thomas United Methodist Church Haymarket Campus is a satellite church of Manassas St. Thomas United Methodist Church.
We officially launched our weekly services on Feb. 3rd! Before this we stepped through three phases preparing for the big KICK-OFF.
Pre-Launch Schedule: 3 Seasons
- Gathering Phase - Initial stage of forming a second MST site. Begin gathering people from the Mission Field that assist in Launching New Church Plant. Do the following: Familiarization with Target Area & Average Family
- Preview Season - This is the phase for "Taste & See" events. These are events that give people a glimpse of things to come. During the latter parts of this phase, it may include worship services monthly.
- Exhibition Season - Final month. Preparation for Public Celebrations at the selected location that include all the elements for the Celebration format. Maybe on the day and hour of regular weekly worship. Also, the period of time during which the new site lets the mission field know that we are open for business.
